ON THE ROAD WITH STEVE HARTMAN: How a student’s friendship with auburn coach bruce pearl gave him the strength to beat leukemia

Worked with the AuburnTigers.com senior staff writers and the CBS Evening News team to tell the story of Auburn men’s basketball manager Sam Cunningham, who was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 12, and his relationship with Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl.

THE FLIGHT: EPISODE 4

Worked with War Eagle+ to produce storylines on Auburn men’s basketball student-athletes throughout the 2023-24 season. WarEagle+ is the Official Content Network for the Auburn Tigers, bringing subscription holders inside the action and closer than ever to the teams and student-athletes.

IN FOCUS: CHARLESTON'S OSINACHI SMART

Worked in conjunction with the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) video staff to produce CAA Basketball's On Campus coverage of the College of Charleston Cougars. The feature shined a light on sophomore forward/center Osinachi Smart, who last summer collected sneakers and distributed them with his brother, Ikenna, to the children in their home country of Nigeria. Smart was named to the 2018 NABC Give Back Team.

IN FOCUS: CHARLESTON STRONG

Worked in conjunction with the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) video staff to produce an in-focus feature on #CharlestonStrong. The effect of the Emanuel AME Church shooting that happened across the street from the College of Charleston’s TD Arena with reflections of that day/week with men’s basketball head coach Earl Grant and student-athletes Joe Chealey and Terrance O’Donohue. Helped coordinate interviews and gathered video/photos to tell this special story (credited). The feature was nominated as one of six national finalists for the 2016 SVG/NACDA College Sports Media Awards - Outstanding Special Feature for Regional/Local/Conference Digital Networks.

COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON COMMENCEMENT (2010-PRESENT)

Social media and photography (self taken) highlighting College of Charleston student-athletes graduating during commencement exercises and capturing the uniqueness of the ceremony - one of the most picturesque among college & universities around the country.
