COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON INSTITUTIONAL LOGO & REBRANDING COMMITTEE

The College of Charleston, in collaboration with Gil Shuler Graphic Design of Mount Pleasant, unveiled a new logo on August 18, 2014, that features historic Randolph Hall in the heart of campus.

Served on the eight-member College of Charleston Institutional Logo & Rebranding Committee with the Director of Athletics. The committee was comprised of representatives from the offices of alumni relations, president’s office, athletics, and the division of marketing and communications on campus from 2013 to 2014. An institutional and athletics logo was designed in collaboration with Gil Shuler Graphic Design of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.

COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON ATHLETICS HALL OF FAME SELECTION COMMITTEE and hall of fame room & concourse project

Served annually on the College of Charleston Athletics Hall of Fame Selection Committee alongside former student-athletes, Board of Trustees, donors and community members. Worked alongside the Director of Athletics and Director of Operations/Facilities on an extensive $100,000+ Hall of Fame Room and Concourse Project from 2011 to 2012 with Advent, a design company based out of Nashville, Tennessee.

COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON ATHLETICS WOMEN'S BASKETBALL HEAD COACH Search COMMITTEE

Served twice on the College of Charleston Athletics Women's Basketball Head Coach Search Committees in 2012 and 2014. Aided the Director of Athletics in recruiting and selecting women's basketball coaching candidates across the country with extensive women's basketball background and knowledge. Helped AD hire the first-ever African-American head coach in program history in Natasha Adair, now the head women's basketball coach at Arizona State University (formerly at the University of Delaware).

College of Charleston YEAR OF WOMEN CAMPAIGN

Brainstormed and oversaw creative content for the athletics department in celebration of the College of Charleston’s “Year of Women” campaign during the 2018-19 school year. The campaign was designed to encourage dialogue about the admission and history of women students at The College and to highlight their many contributions over the last 100 years. This included feature stories on the program’s four women head coaches, high-impact photography to along with those stories and social media graphics of notable women student-athletes & their accomplishments through the years at CofC.

#COUGARFUEL CAMPAIGN

Collaborated with The Cougar Club, the athletics department’s primary fundraising arm, and Director of Sports Nutrition with fundraising initiative targeting donations to enhance the nutritional needs of College of Charleston student-athletes. Helped edit and create copy for each of the 19-varsity sports programs for campaign website. Also, designed social media graphics and videos for the campaign which raised more than $20,000 in October of 2019.

  • ESPN Gildan Charleston Classic Tournament Director (2016) - annual ESPN men's basketball tournament held at TD Arena on the campus of College of Charleston

  • 2017-19 Colonial Athletic Association Men’s Basketball Championship Host School (athletics department liaison with conference office and North Charleston Coliseum staff in 2017)

  • ESPN Gildan Charleston Classic Co-Media Coordinator (2010-19)

  • Helped put together College of Charleston Athletics Licensing Partner RFP (LRG now Learfield IMG College)

  • Creation and Growth of College of Charleston Athletics Social Media Accounts (10K+ followers on @CofCSports Twitter and Facebook Accounts)

  • College of Charleston Athletics Game Day and Table Crew Staffing and Oversight

  • College of Charleston Athletics Scorer's Table and Rotational Ads Operation & Oversight (NEVCO)

  • Designed First-Ever Men’s Basketball Game Program for Charleston Sports Properties (Learfield IMG College) as well as Scorer’s Table Rotational Ad Signage (2018-19)
